Spicy Tuna Salad with Herbs

A friend of mine who is doing a lean food diet asked me how to make a boring tuna taste better. The first thing that came to my mind is a Thai version of tuna salad, Plan Tuna (พล่าทูน่า). This tuna salad is paced with flavors. It is very refreshing. And it comes with a bonus to reboost your immune system with all these herbs.😉
Ingredients:
- 1 can of tuna
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar (skip it if you are on a lean diet 😉)
- 1 fresh chilli (or more, depends on your spicy tolerant level), sliced
- 1 large shallot (or a small onion), sliced
- 1 fresh lemongrass, fine sliced
- 1 spring onion, sliced
- 1 stem of mint, use only the leafs
- 3 stem of coriander, roughly chopped
📣Cooking Tips📣
I know that everyone have unfavorite hurbs. So feel free to switch the herbs that you don’t like with the one you like more. A little experiment never hurs.
