Another one pot wonder menu that I often make. I can just put everything into the pot, set a timer and go do something else before come back to finish the cooking. Simple, tasty and yummy!😋 Ingredients: (2 serving)
~ 700 g. pork ribs
~ 1 onion, halved ~ 5 large garlic cloves
~ 1 thumb ginger, halved
~ 2 star anis pods
~ 1 large cinnamon stick
~ 1 tbsp black pepper
~ 1 large coriander root (optional)
~ 1 tbsp oyster sauce
~ 4 tbsp dark soya sauce
~ 1 tbsp seasoning sauce (Maggie)
~ 3 tbsp sugar
~ salt
Optional veggies
~ kale, shiitake mushroom, broccoli, carrot, etc.

How to:
✔️ Add pork ribs and cold water (about 1 inch above the pork) to the pot and bring it to boil. Skim the foam.
✔️ Add the rest of ingredients “except salt and veggies!” to the pot and simmer in low heat with closed lid for 2-3 hrs.
✔️ Taste the sauce to see if it needs more salt. Add more salt if needed. Then add veggies to the braised pot.
✔️ Once the veggies are cooked, turn off the heat. OR add dissolved corn starch in water to thicken the sauce. 2 tbsp corn starch with 1/3 cup of water. (I prefer mine with a light sauce)
✔️ Serve it on rice or noodle. You can also garnish with sesame and spring onion or coriander. .
