Chinese Sausage Fried Rice
When I first tasted a salami, I was a little bit afraid to try it. Because the only type of salami I had before was sweet Chinese salami (sausages), which needs to be cooked before consuming.
Fried sweet Chinese sausage is one of my favorite food since I was a child. It can be part of ingredients in many of my favorite food, e.g. bao, fried noodles, spicy Thai salad, etc. But I usually eat it with just plain rice or use it in fried rice.
Ingredients: (2 serving)
~ 2 portion of rice (left over, cold rice is the best)
~ 3-4 eggs
~ 300 g. Chinese sausages, slice
~ 200 g. veggies (Chinese broccoli, green beans, onion, carrot, peas, etc.)
~ 3 cloves garlic, minced
~ 1 tbsp dark soya sauce
~ 2 tsp light soya sauce or seasoning sauce (Maggie sauce)
~ 2 tsp salt
~ 2 tsp sugar
~ 2 tsp ground pepper
~ 3 tbsp cooking oil
How to:
✔️ Heat up the pan, add cooking oil and low the heat to medium low. Then add the Chinese sausages, fry until it is cooked and move it aside.
✔️Add cooking garlic. Fry until it turns golden brown. Then add egg to the pan.
✔️ Scramble the egg until it almost cooked. Then add the rice.
✔️ Seasoning the rice with dark soya sauce, light soya sauce, salt and sugar. Stir frying the rice in high heat until the rice is cooked and coated with eggs .
✔️ Add veggies and stir everything together. Once the veggies are cooked, add fried Chinese sausages back to the pan, stir and turn off the heat.
✔️ Sprinkle ground pepper on top of the fried rice before serve.
