My baby boy loves everything noodle (and everything mushroom). So when all the adult were enjoying chicken wings with nice cold beverages, he was busy with his Yaki Udon and a cold apple juice as well. It was a fair thing to do, right? 😉

Ingredients: (2 servings)

~ 300 g. Udon noodle (prepare as per instructions on the package to make the noodle ready for stir-frying)

~ 400 g. shrimp

~ 300 g. veggies of your choice (mushroom, Bok Choi, cabbage, carrot, onion, bean sprout, etc.)

~ a bunch of scallions

~ 3 tbsp cooking oil

~ 1 tbsp sesame oil

~ 4 tbsp ready made yakisoba sauce

or mix all the ingredients below in a pot, and heat it up to dissolve sugar (and Dashi powder)

~ 4 tbsp soya sauce

~ 2 tbsp mirin

~ 1 tbsp sugar

~ 1 tsp Dashi powder (optional)

How to:

✔️ Heat up the pan, then add cooking oil and shrimp. Fry until the shrimp is semi cooked and set it aside.

✔️ Add Udon noodle and the sauce to the pan. Fry until the noodle is coated with sauce and cooked.

✔️ Add veggies to the pan and stir. Once the veggies are cooked, add the shrimp scallions and sesame oil to the pan. Quickly stir, then turn off the heat.
