Being Thai, I love a good dip with my food. The classic dip for Thai grilled beef or pork is Jhaew dip. This special dip has a characteristic roasted rice powder aroma and spicy, salty and sour taste. And it’s best to eat along with SomTam (Thai papaya salad).

To make Nua Yang (Thai steak), we would marinate the meat with different types of seasoning sauces instead of just salt and pepper. Then we dip it in this aromatic and spicy Jhaew dip instead of steak sauce. Oh! And we usually eat it with steamed sticky rice too. Yummm!!!😋
